Installation Specification

Installation Program Specification
Universal Marble & Granite


Sales Guidelines:

· A completed diagram and counter top worksheet indicating color and edge detail must be delivered, mailed or faxed to Universal Marble & Granite.
· All walls and cabinets must be reasonably clean, square, and plumb. All cabinets must be permanently secured to the walls and/or floor. All previous counter tops must be removed.
· The customer is responsible for any disconnection and/or reconnect of any plumbing, gas and/ or electrical.
· Sinks, faucets, subtops, support strips and appliances must be on the jobsite prior to templating.
· Wall supports and brackets for overhangs greater than 10 inches must be previously installed.

Labor Scope - Basic Installation

1: In home inspection to verify the layout, measurements, and special installation requirements and templating.
2: Delivery and normal installation of counter top.
3: Includes faucet hole drilling (up to 4 holes)
4: Eased or Radius corners up to 3/4" MAX.
5: Finished exposed ends (flat finish no edge detail) example: next to range or refrigerator.
6: Eased polished edge on back splash (all exposed edges).
7: Standard eased edge included (edge# 10-2cm or Edge# 24-3 cm) from group A edges
8: Final clean up of installation and related debris.

Repair or alterations to existing cabinetry.
Support material for overhang (required for overhangs of 10")

Notes:

1. No work will be done on holidays.
2. An adult must be present at the time of install.
3. Existing countertops must be removed prior to templating.
4. Customer is responsible for payment of $50.00 for a missed field appointment.
5. Customer is responsible for a payment of $150.00 for a missed install appointment.
6. Granite is composed of natural material. Color variations, veining, mineral streaks are
common. This must be reviewed with customer.

7 Customer should be prepared to be without full use of sink and appliances during
installation and 24 hours there after.
